¡Tenemos buenas noticias! ¡Por primera vez celebramos la Semana de la Lactancia Latina del 5 al 11 de septiembre! Esta semana celebramos a todas las familias latinas que amamantan. ¿Cómo vas a celebrar?

WIC ofrece asesores de lactancia y recursos de lactancia en español y así ayudarlos a sentirse preparados para amamantar cuando llegue su pequeño. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a las comunidades hispanas a aumentar la lactancia materna para ayudar a todos los pequeñitos a vivir vidas saludables: este es NUESTRO POR QUÉ.

We wanted to take the time to reintroduce ourselves. So, what is WIC? We are a Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children. We help provide supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age 5 who are found to be at nutritional risk.
