There’s something pretty great about a community coming together around a good cause—and we’d love to see Evans show up for Santa Cops of Weld County!

The Evans Police Department is proud to partner with Santa Cops, and this Sunday you can support their mission while enjoying a good old-fashioned all-you-can-eat brunch right here in Evans.

Every dollar raised from the brunch goes toward helping kids and families in our community through Santa Cops of Weld County. 🎅❤️

The Evans community is showing up BIG for Badges for Babies! 👏💙 Our collection at the PD is growing, and we couldn’t be more grateful to everyone who has already donated.

BUT… WE’RE NOT DONE YET! 👀

There are still a couple of days left to help us fill the bins and give Evans one last push toward the finish line! 🏁

Badges for Babies is officially underway, and we need the Evans community to step up!

From August 22–30, Evans is going head-to-head with Greeley in a friendly competition to see which community can collect the most diapers and baby essentials for the Covering Weld Diaper Bank.

This is a chance to help local families while showing off what the Evans community can do! 💙

So clean out that diaper stash, pick up an extra pack while you’re shopping, and encourage your friends, family and coworkers to join in.

It’s more than just Police vs. Fire—this year, it’s Greeley vs. Evans! And while we absolutely want to help our community and support local babies, let’s be honest… Evans wants to win! 😎💪

🥭 A BIG thank you to Sam's Club 🥭

Our community was truly overwhelmed by the generosity of Sam’s Club and their incredible mango donation! Between two distributions, we received nearly 500 cases of mangos—approximately 6,000 mangos—with an estimated retail value of nearly $6,000!

The mangos were shared with all six Evans schools, Lighthouse Food Pantry, GOAL Academy, Terrace Park, and the ECC Senior Luncheon, allowing us to provide fresh produce to students, families, seniors, and community members throughout Evans.

This generous donation was such a wonderful example of what happens when local businesses and our community come together to give back. Thank you, Sam’s Club, for helping bring a little sweetness to so many families in our community! 🥭💛

The Evans Police Department is now officially located at our new building:

We’re excited to begin this new chapter in our new home and look forward to continuing to serve the Evans community from our new location!

🌟 What a great National Night Out! 🌟

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this year’s National Night Out a success! It was wonderful to see so many members of our community, families, neighbors, and local partners coming together.

We’re grateful for the incredible turnout and for everyone who helped host, organize, and participate in these events. Nights like this are a great reminder that strong communities make safer communities. 💙

Thursday, we celebrated Teresa McClatchey and 22 incredible years of dedicated service to the Evans Police Department and the Evans community.

Throughout her career, Teresa has made a lasting impact through her compassion, commitment, and unwavering dedication to serving others. From building relationships in our schools to supporting countless community programs, families, and organizations, her legacy will continue to be felt for years to come.

During her retirement ceremony, Teresa was also honored with the Meritorious Service Award in recognition of her extraordinary dedication, initiative, and lasting contributions to our department and community.

Please join us in congratulating Teresa on her well-earned retirement and thanking her for the countless lives she has touched over the past 22 years.

Congratulations, Teresa, and thank you for a truly remarkable career! 💙👮‍♀️
