Riverside Elementary PTO Evans, GA

10/06/2026

Dear Riverside Elementary Families and Staff,

We wanted to provide a quick update regarding the remaining spirit wear orders.

The Riverside Elementary PTO has reached out to Blue Ribbon to get an updated date for when the remaining spirit wear orders will be completed and available. We are also aware that Blue Ribbon has been sending some emails regarding discontinued products.

We sincerely apologize for any confusion or frustration this may have caused. Blue Ribbon did not make us aware that these emails were being sent, and we are currently working directly with them to get everything sorted out and determine the best way to move forward with any affected orders.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this. We will share additional information as soon as we have a clear update from Blue Ribbon.

Thank you for your continued support of Riverside Elementary and the PTO!

Thank you,
Riverside Elementary PTO

🚧 TRAFFIC ALERT FOR RES FAMILIES and those with middle/high schoolers🚧

Please plan ahead this week! Columbia County has announced temporary lane closures on Hardy McManus Road between Furys Ferry Road and William Few Parkway beginning tonight, September 27, through October 4.

⏰ Closures will take place NIGHTLY from 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, weather permitting, as part of the Hardy McManus Road widening project.

While most of the work is scheduled overnight, families traveling through the area may want to allow a little extra time during morning drop-off in case of delays.

Temporary Lane Closures on Hardy McManus Road

Columbia County, in cooperation with Reeves Construction Company, wishes to inform the driving public of intermittent, temporary lane closures on Hardy McManus Road from Furys Ferry Road to William Few Parkway. The lane closures will be in effect from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, starting, Sunday, September 27, 2026, through Sunday, October 04, 2026, weather permitting.

The temporary lane closure is associated with the roadway-widening project for Hardy McManus Road.

Whenever you approach a work zone: slow down; allow extra distance between vehicles; watch for advanced warning signs; obey road crew flaggers; and expect the unexpected. If possible, please plan to take an alternate route and/or allow additional time for commuting during this timeframe.
