I just realized I never shared our Junior High end-of-year Scale Factor projects!

These are always one of my favorite projects of the year. Students use ratios, dilations, and corresponding coordinates to recreate an image at a different scale—either half the size, double the size, or the same size as the original.

It’s a great way to see math come to life through creativity, precision, and problem-solving. I’m always impressed by the effort and attention to detail these students put into their work. Great job, kids! 👏📐🎨

🥔🌱 Evans High FFA Members Harvest Potatoes! 🌱🥔

Our Evans High FFA members have been hard at work planting, caring for, and harvesting potatoes from our school garden! Students gained hands-on agricultural experience while learning about crop production, teamwork, and responsibility.

We are proud of the dedication these students have shown throughout the growing season. Great job to all of our members who helped make this harvest a success! 💙💛
