We have a burglar on the loose! Evansdale residents with home surveillance living in the area between River Forest Rd & Evans Rd and Lafayette Rd & Central Ave please check your cameras for anyone prowling around the last couple days to a week. Officer Taylor is making the trek across the state once again with his fellow RAGBRAI riders.

We pray for a safe and fun ride for Officer Taylor, all the other riders, support staff and others that do this every year.

Just a reminder that RAGBRAI will be coming through Black Hawk County in the following days. There is no overnight stop but traffic will be impacted on the route.

Check the route on thier website to see if it will impact your route.

Please be aware of the increased bike traffic on the roadways.

We are looking to identify this subject driving this truck and trailer. They would have come from Raymond, East Elk Run or Raymar. These shots are from yesterday morning and they would have been cutting down a soft pine tree or bush, most likely a tree.

If you recognize this truck or trailer or seen your neighbor cutting a soft pine tree down yesterday, please let us know. They went to the Evansdale brush to dump what little was left on the trailer.
