Whew!!! What a whirlwind! We had such a fun time at Gentlemen Take a Stand Fun Pianos Show! We were pleased to honor Undersheriff and previous SAFV Director Trevor Rasmussen with the first ever Allies in Action award for his dedication to survivors and his work in ending violence in our community.
We owe an enormous THANK YOU to all our table sponsors, those who donated awesome raffle prizes and our volunteers and board members with a special shout out to Evanston Youth Club for donating their space for the event.
We couldn’t do the work we do without this amazing support from our community. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for taking a stand against violence, and we hope to see you again next year!

Heads up, everyone! The ticket link briefly said we were sold out… but nope, not yet!

We’ve fixed the issue, and you can still purchase your tickets before doors open at 5:30 PM.

Get yours while they’re available — see you tonight for an amazing evening!

Please be cautious of anyone claiming to sell Gentlemen Take A Stand tickets through personal posts or comments. These individuals are not listed as official ticket holders, and we want to ensure everyone has a safe, legitimate experience.

To purchase authentic tickets, please use our official ticket site or buy directly at the door on event night. This protects you, supports our mission, and keeps the event secure for everyone.

Thank you for helping us keep our community safe and informed.

See you Tomorrow!!!!

As the week winds down and we get ready to hit the ground running next week to finish the final details for the 4th Annual Gentlemen: Take A Stand Against Violence event, SAFV Task Force wants to extend our sincere thanks to the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office and the Evanston City Council.

Thank you for allowing us to come in, share updates, and have meaningful conversations about the work we are doing in Uinta County—including safety planning, crisis intervention, survivor support, and community outreach related to interpersonal violence.

The discussion about shared goals, response coordination, and survivor‑centered practices was both productive and encouraging. When advocacy programs, law enforcement, and local leadership join together, we create a stronger, more responsive safety net for survivors and a safer community for everyone.

We look forward to continued collaboration and to building a unified approach that supports survivors, strengthens community safety, and moves Uinta County forward.

We want to thank A New Dawn Remembering Macey Dawn for sponsoring a table at the Gentlemen Take A Stand Against Violence event. When groups focused on education, resources, and crisis services work together, our community grows stronger. Thank you, A New Dawn, for supporting survivors and making Uinta County safer.

Would you like to help support survivors in Uinta County, just like A New Dawn Remembering Macey Dawn?
We are still looking for raffle donations.
Come join us on August 22 for an evening of music, food, advocacy, and fun you won’t forget!
