The PTA has been working with Oakton social workers to meet the needs of our families and we need your help! If you would like to make a donation to provide groceries to Oakton families that need it most you can donate through the link in our bio and we will purchase and distribute grocery gift cards ASAP.

We want to congratulate ACC teacher Ms. Claudia Braithwaite on her retirement at the end of this school year. Ms. Braithwaite was a crucial part of building the foundation and the flourishing of the ACC magnet program at Oakton Elementary. She has been a role model to countless teachers and students over the years, and her presence at the school will be missed.

Join us for the ACC Crossover ceremony, Tuesday, May 20th at 6pm-7:30pm (Students should arrive by 5:40).

Students will be wearing white robes. They should also wear white tops, black bottoms and black shoes.

Crossover is a beautiful ceremony full of music and preformances as students crossover to the next grade and are welcomed by their teacher for next year. 5th graders will be introduced to the Chute principal. ✨

Free Summer Meals for Kids and Teens
This summer, Evanston is offering free breakfast and lunch for youth ages 1–18 at convenient locations across the city—no sign-up or income requirements needed! Just drop in!

Dates: June 9 – August 8
Days: Monday–Friday
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
No service on June 19 and July 4
