Take a peek at one of the future gathering spaces inside our Activity Center. 🌿

The Four Seasons Porch overlooks our peaceful lake and is designed to be a place where veterans and guests can slow down, connect, and recharge. It will be used for:
• Social gatherings
• Informal get-togethers
• Classroom breaks
• Small events

We're excited to share that the Activity Center furniture (including the storage cabinets, conference table, and chairs) have been delivered! We can't wait to get everything set up and share updated photos with you soon. Stay tuned!

This land is the future home of our equine therapy program at The Sanctuary on the Hill. 🐴

Research has found that equine therapy can help veterans experiencing PTSD by reducing symptom severity, while also improving trust, emotional regulation, social connection, and overall well-being. Every step of progress brings us closer to creating a place where veterans can reconnect, recover, and thrive.

Coming April 2027 🇺🇸

The Sanctuary on the Hill is being built with a purpose: to provide veterans and their families with a place to reconnect, recharge, and find community in a peaceful setting. While our doors won't open until April 2027, every step of this journey is driven by the belief that those who served deserve a place to heal.

The first thing you’ll see when you step inside Ronnie Brookshire Lodge 👋🏼

While it’s not quite finished yet, the progress has been incredible! The Conference Room was designed to be more than just an entrance, it’s the heart of the lodge.

This welcoming space will host conferences, weekly reboots, galas, and large gatherings where veterans, families, and supporters can come together to connect and build community. 🇺🇸

Concrete has officially been poured behind the Ronnie Brookshire Lodge for a new outdoor gathering space!

This area will be made for cookouts, patio tables, classes, casual hangouts, and even mellow live music during special events. We can already picture veterans and their families spending time together, enjoying the fresh air, and making memories at the sanctuary.
