A “HUGE” shoutout to CrossPoint Polymer Technologies for the generous donation of blankets to our AIS students. More below on Cross Point Polymer Technologies mission to support our Evansville youth.
Another “Huge” shout out to both the McDonalds on First Avenue and on Rosenberger for their generous donations of giftcard’s to our students.
Look at the beautiful smiles on our students faces because of our Community Partners.
Thank you to our AIS staff who made sure our students received their gifts wrapped with love. AIS truly has a phenomenal team. Our team is dedicated,
flexible, forgiving and they come to work daily with smiles on their faces. When they have a challenging day they let it go and come back the next day ready to go and again with a smile. Our students are blessed to have such a wonderful team working on their behalf and only wanting the best for our kiddo’s.
From the AIS FAMILY to your Family,
Happy Holidays
CrossPoint Polymer Technologies and CEO Ben Schmidt have a heart for valuing every person that works for their company, regardless of their role, position, or background through open communication and mutual respect. But they don’t stop there. They ask their employees what kind of impact they want to have in their community, not just their job, and discovered there was a common denominator amongst their employees to support Evansville’s kids. This inspired them to reach out to local schools, develop trust and partnerships to meet tangible needs to help students and teachers to be successful.
This year, a contact was made to CrossPoint about AIS-Diamond wanting to provide a tangible gift to their students and the management team there saw a chance to link two of the missions of their company. The first, listed above, is developing partnerships to help local youth and meet their tangible needs. The second is half a world away and involves a program that makes articles to sell that supports an orphanage in Myanmar. The Binding Thread's Loom House then directly supports women coming out of the orphanage who are at the greatest risk of becoming victims of human or labor trafficking.
CrossPoint was able to purchase 250 blankets to support the work in Myanmar and support local youth in the process.
