Important Update from the Young Leaders United **
With our Annual Dodgeball Tournament being canceled this year due to covid-19 we are still hosting a virtual fundraiser to raise money to provide ‘kid boxes’ to the kids a part of K-Camp and other local early education programs. We are hoping to raise enough supplies/donations for 80 students.

To make this still a fun and competitive event, we will be giving the 2020 YLU Dodgeball trophy to the business
that raises the most money or supplies to fill the most ‘kid boxes.’ The deadline to turn in items is December 18th and a list of items can be found at https://unitedwayswi.org/supported-programs/young-leaders/ .

Thank you for still taking part in helping us raise money to benefit early childhood education within our community. We appreciate the vital part you have played and continue to play in helping make a difference, even if temporarily from afar. Please email Katie Sutton at [email protected] to sign up to partake in the collection drive. If you would simply like to make a donation, please mail a check to the United Way of Southwestern Indiana (318 Main St., Suite 504 Evansville, IN 47708) and specify your donation to “YLU Dodgeball Benefit” in the memo.

The United Way of Southwestern Indiana is aware of a post circulating on Facebook regarding the Covid-19 Relief Fund. This post is from the Indianapolis area and is for those local residents only. Residents of Vanderburgh, Warrick, and Spencer counties are encouraged to call 2-1-1 (or 866-211-9966) for local assistance at this time, however, there is currently no fund in place in our area.
