The vision of the VCMRC is to be a premier response organization, trained and prepared to give
effective and quality resources to support Emergency Management Systems already in place in the
event of a major emergency. The goal of the VCMRC will be that of a support role in providing volunteer
medical professionals and non-professional volunteers to augment, on request, existing organizations
involved in disasters.
