Story Time starts today! From 11am-12:30 we are going to be reading The Stinky Cheese man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales by Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith and crafting flying pig windmills! Come check it out and there is no cost!

Lego Club starts on Tuesday as well, every Tuesday from 11am-12:30 PM and the cost is $5 OR a bag of Legos FIRST VISIT OF THE YEAR ONLY.

Summer is just around the corner, so here comes the Summer Reading Flyer! We will have Lego Club every Tuesday and Story Time every other Friday both running from 11 AM to 12:30 PM! I'm excited for the books and crafts I've picked for this year!

Also Check out our Summer Reading Challenge! Read at least 10 pages or 30 min a day for 8 days to get a FREE book, and the first 2 to complete 14 days will get a FREE book and plush!

Please note change of hours next week! We will be OPEN Monday, May 4th 11am-5pm, also the free trees will be available for pick up starting this day. CLOSED Tuesday, May 5th, and OPEN Friday, May 8th 11am-5pm. We apologize for any inconvenience and regular hours resume afterwards.

I'm super excited for what I've got planned for summer reading this year! The first story time is May 30th already! Flyers are going out already but I will spoil that at the end of summer, we are making homemade ice cream!

I sent an email to the Neighborhood Forest to get an update on the trees and unfortunately ours got lost in the mail. However, they are sending new trees that should be here Friday but instead of Quaking Aspen they will be Fraser Fir trees instead. When the trees arrive I will set dates for pick up!
I got busy and didnt get around to continuing the photo series, but here's the difference between Thursday and today.

On the 9th we hosted the Girl Scout troop 8323 while they learned about composting, recycling, and worm composting. They helped us set up our worm composter, then made their own 2 liter bottle composters. Thank you for the opportunity to host this program and over the next week or 2 I'm going to be taking daily photos to help observe how the worms are eating their first meals.
