What an incredible National Night Out!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made this year’s event such a tremendous success. It was great to see so many families enjoying an evening filled with fun, community, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and first responders.

From the foam party, bike giveaways, games, and activities to the many community resource booths, there truly was something for everyone. Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to live in a community that comes together to support one another.

A huge thank you goes out to all of the agencies, businesses, organizations, volunteers, and sponsors who dedicated their time and resources to make this event possible. Your commitment to our community is what makes National Night Out such a special tradition.

We also want to thank everyone who attended. Seeing the park full of smiling faces, kids having fun, and neighbors getting to know one another is exactly what National Night Out is all about.

We can’t wait to see everyone again next year! 🇺🇸🚓🚒🚑💙

🇺🇸 We had a busy and exciting 4th of July weekend with the fireworks Friday night followed by the parade and party at the fairgrounds on Saturday as we celebrated America’s 250th Anniversary.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding with the increased traffic surrounding the fireworks display due to the ongoing construction. Thank you as well to our mutual aid partners who assisted with the fireworks event and traffic control to help keep everyone safe throughout the evening.

Saturday’s parade was a great success, and the party at the fairgrounds was enjoyed by all. The crowd especially enjoyed the slip-and-slide on a warm summer day along with all of the activities and attractions available throughout the event thanks to the efforts of the Evart Lions Club and the Osceola County Fairgrounds.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and helped make this year’s festivities another memorable community event.

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

🎆EVART FIREWORKS THIS FRIDAY!!!!!! 🎆

🎇✨Join us this Friday at the Evart Industrial Park for the annual Evart area fireworks! The show will begin at dusk and promises to be a great way to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends. 🎇✨

🚧 IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ALERT – PLEASE READ! 🚧
Due to the major road construction on US-10, traffic before, during, and especially after the fireworks will be much heavier than normal, and delays should be expected.

⚠️ US-10 has been reduced from five lanes to just two lanes:
➡️ One eastbound lane
⬅️ One westbound lane
🚶‍♂️ Please also note that part of the north-side sidewalk has been removed because of construction.

🚗 PARKING LOTS EXIT PLAN (Same as previous years):
🏙️ Heading toward Downtown Evart? Exit on the east side of the Industrial Park.
🌲 Heading toward Reed City? Exit on the west side at 100th Avenue.

🚦 TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS AFTER THE SHOW
✅ Right turns only from US-10.
❌ No left turns from US-10.
❌ Due to construction traffic on 95th Avenue (Lauman Road), Recreation Avenue, and Main Street will NOT be permitted to turn onto US-10.

🗺️ PLAN AHEAD!!!
There are alternate routes that may help you avoid the heaviest congestion. They may add a few extra miles or include gravel roads, but they could save you a lot of time and frustration.

🚗 Alternate Routes:
📍 5 Mile Road to US-10 (Will take you towards Reed City)
📍 10th Street (5 Mile Road) to Main Street, then south on Main Street to leave town (Can take you towards M-66 / Big Rapids / Hersey, use your maps app or the internet to search out the route to your destination)
📍 95th Avenue to 7 Mile Road, then east on 7 Mile Road to River Road (Can take you to M-66 / Marion / LeRoy / Tustin / Cadillac, use your maps app or the internet to search out the route to your destination)

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we work through this construction project together.

🎆 Have a safe and happy 4th of July and enjoy the fireworks! 🎆
