Evarts Police Department has been grief-stricken with the lost of a fellow officer, comrade, friend and Brother. The lost of Officer #427 Terry Jacobs. a caring, compassionate person as well our brother in blue, Terry was splendid to be around and never meet a stranger, I seldom ask Terry if he kept kind words in his pockets, because he would use them on several different occasions. I myself worked alongside of Terry for several years and had known him practically my hole life. not only are our fellow comrades and brothers in blue throughout Harlan county heart stricken and grieving the lost of our brother, the people Terry impacted in his life travels are as well. We pray for his family to find peace and comfort in the tremendous lost of such a wonderful compassionate, and caring person as Terry is/was. Rest in peace our brother keep us in your graces as you travel your travel to life ever after in the arms of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. you will always be loved and missed by your brothers in blue here at the Evarts Police Department.
