After deep reflection and tough conversations, we’ve made the difficult decision to shut down Building Brighter.
This wasn’t easy. But after losing critical grant support due to changes in the federal administration, the path forward became untenable. Still, I remain incredibly proud of the impact we made.
We helped shift the narrative around homelessness and proved that sustainable tiny living can be part of the solution. When we started, we were a handful of voices in the wilderness. Today, dozens of organizations have joined the fight. That’s progress. And it’s proof that the seeds we planted are growing.
To the volunteers, directors, architects, and builders—you are my family. Thank you for pouring your heart and soul into this vision. You built more than homes—you built hope.
To our donors and supporters—your generosity mattered. You helped us move the needle and kept the mission alive on the hardest days. I will never forget that.
This chapter closes, but the story continues. Through New Paradigm Energy, ReVenture Systems, and the Global Solutions Alliance, we will keep championing sustainability, equity, and bold systems change.
Let’s keep dreaming, building, and believing. The future still needs us.
