I am running for Everett City Council to make a difference for Everett and the Residents. I have had the distinct privilege of serving the people of this wonderful City for more than forty years and it is my desire to continue to do so. I have watched as our City has flourished and grown and I’m especially excited to see what the future holds for us now that we will be executing the modifications

identified in our new City Charter.”

When my colleagues and I both created the New City Charter and continued this endeavor with the development of the Committee on City Ordinances Realignment and the Committee on Council Rules and Regulations, we did so with success, change, and progress in mind. I have dedicated my entire political life to the City of Everett. I pledge to do the same, given the opportunity this coming November.”

“I look forward to making new acquaintances with many of the newest of Everett’s residents; as well as, rekindling the multitudes of old friends I have made and cherished over my many years of service to the city. “

I’d like to thank all the citizens that came out to the polls on Election Day. For many uncontested races, it was a pretty good turnout

I would like to thank my family and friends … without their commitment, could not serve Everett for an incredible 50 years!
Our city government works really well together and is the reason for the progress we continue to make.

Happy Holidays to all and please know I am always available for any issues. ~ John Hanlon
