We honor the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the American service members who fought in the Battle of Midway from June 4–7, 1942.

Often regarded as the turning point of the Pacific Theater during World War II, the victory at Midway demonstrated the strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit of our Nation. Against overwhelming odds, brave Sailors, Marines, and Aviators changed the course of history and helped secure freedom for future generations.

As we reflect on their heroism, let us never forget the sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation and the enduring legacy they left behind.

We Remember. We Honor. We Are Forever Grateful.

✅ Improved access to VA healthcare
✅ Stronger Veteran Service Officer programs

Every Friday, we wear red as a visible reminder that brave American service members remain deployed around the world, standing watch far from home in defense of our nation and our freedoms.

Today, AMVETS Hawaii honors the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of all those currently serving overseas. We also recognize the families who support them through long deployments, missed milestones, and countless challenges.

As you wear red today, take a moment to remember those who continue to answer the call of duty and keep our nation safe.
