As a native Hawaiian and a proud American, I believe I have a distinct viewpoint of the needs of our diverse community and the preservation of its rich history and culture. As a neighbor, I share in the same concerns you do for this growing community we call home. As a Pastor, I am called to care for people and answer to a higher authority. As a large-scale construction project manager, I know har
d labor and just how far a dollar can stretch. As a father and grandfather, I know the necessity to pass something better on to our children and grandchildren. As a husband, I know how important it is to be able to retire comfortably and take care of each other in our golden years. And finally, as a sports lover and surfer, I know how lucky we are to live Hawaii and why we need to develop responsibly to preserve our aina and the waters that surround it. Our vision for Ewa and Ewa Beach should be one of a thriving and safe community with top-notch public schools, numerous business opportunities, flowing traffic and recreational facilities that will be the envy of Oahu. It is this love of community that my family and I now feel the time has come for me to again offer myself as a servant in the public arena. I am hopeful that I can bring some common sense ideas straight from the people to the State House of Representatives. With your support and vote, I will serve everyone in our community with pride, integrity, honesty and respect. I believe in “People Before Politics!”
