We then deepened our understanding of Spanish history and empire visiting El Escorial, with its impressive library and its just opened restored courtyards. Our visit to the monument of the Valley of Cuelgamuros showed the stark consequences of the Spanish Civil War.

After seeing Pablo Picasso’s Guernica at the Museo de Arte Moderno Reina Sofía in Madrid. We enjoyed interacting with modern art including the never disappearing pile of candies installation.

Our TCNJ in Madrid students have started intensive classes and are exploring this vibrant city full of FIFA World Cup excitement. We visited the Prado Museum on Wednesday. Stay tuned for our next adventures!

Exciting news! WLC has launched the first program of its kind in New Jersey, our new 4+1 World Languages and Linguistics + TESL program.

Earn your B.A. in World Languages and Linguistics AND an M.Ed. in TESL in 4-5 years, with K–12 certification in French, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, or Spanish plus ESL.

NJ schools need YOU — and districts are offering substantial salary increases for teachers with master’s degrees.
