The stories of the Vietnam War era are part of our community’s history, and the Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives is helping preserve them.

“Not Forgotten” features local stories, displays, and memories that reflect life during the 1960s and honor those whose lives were forever changed by the Vietnam War.

The exhibit is on display now through Nov. 30, 2027, at the Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives, 101 E. Broadway.

The Museum is also participating in the Missouri Humanities Vietnam Oral History Project. If you have a story to share, contact the Museum at 816-630-0101.

Take time to visit, learn, remember, and help preserve these important local stories for future generations.

Excelsior Springs will have the honor of hosting the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall Sept. 9–14 at Piburn Ballfield, located at the intersection of Broadway and Penn in downtown Excelsior Springs.

This traveling memorial gives our community an opportunity to remember and honor those who served during the Vietnam War and those whose names are forever memorialized on the wall.

We encourage everyone to make time to visit, reflect, and pay tribute during its stay in Excelsior Springs.

Thank you to the Excelsior Springs Museum & Archives and everyone involved in bringing this meaningful memorial to our community.
