We have had a few people ask about donating fabric and sewing items to the club to make into quilts for charity gifting.

YES! We take your clean, quilting cottons and sewing notions (including sewing machines, thread, seam rippers, batting, etc). If we can’t use it, we pay it forward to others who can use it, but we have limited space so we only keep what we need and can use.

You can always drop off any donations at the quilt shop Heartland Quilt Supply Co. or make an appointment to drop your donations off in person with us.

PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY DONATIONS ON THE SIDEWALK OR STREET IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING.

Another round of donated quilts went to new homes yesterday. I was so involved that I didn’t get photos so I let AI give it a go. It’s ok i guess.

The snow started to fall this morning and we hope those who get the quilts are toasty and warm!

Your outstanding support has enabled us to achieve something truly special. We've made significant donations of quilts to a local warming shelter, a nursing home, and the police. We're motivated to persist in our endeavors, creating quilts that provide warmth, love, and hope to those who need it most, year-round.

For those who purchased from whatnot so we could buy supplies like batting and thread for quilting, to those who donated fabric and/or your time to support mission, we see you and we appreciate you!

A shipment of made-with-love quilts have been sent to the North Carolina mountains. Our hearts are with you as you recover!

If you know of any causes, in Excelsior Springs and beyond, please let us know. We have donated finished quilts to local nursing homes, foster care systems and police departments.

Do you have quilting cotton just taking up space in a closet? Would you like to get that collection of bins out of your life? DONATE IT. We can use your fabric to make quilts to complete our mission, raise money for our mission or use it for our sewing classes to teach others to sew.

We offer free pick up in the Kansas City area. Just message us and we will be happy to take any modern quilting cottons off your hands! (Threads and notions as well as sewing machines as well!)
