Today marks a significant landmark for the Excelsior Springs Educational Foundation (ESEF) as it celebrates its 30th anniversary! On March 23, 1993, the Educational Foundation was created to provide an avenue and managed system for funding educational activities not ordinarily funded by the Excelsior Springs School District (ESSD) that benefits students, staff and patrons, including scholarships for graduating seniors, teacher grants and other innovative projects.

This milestone would not be possible without all of YOU and the ES community's support and dedication throughout the past 30 years.

THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to all of our founding members, board members and directors for paving the way in connecting community resources to classrooms, enhancing educational opportunities and increasing excellence in the ESSD schools.

THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to our former and current ESSD Board of Education members, administrators, teachers and staff members for your leadership and commitment to help the students learn, grow and realize their potential.

THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to our alumni, community members, local businesses and donors for investing in the future of our ESSD students.

May we continue to connect and partner with one another to make a lasting impact for the ES schools and community for another 30 years to come!

COME SEE US TONIGHT!
Celebrate the holiday season with the Educational Foundation as we host tonight's Lane of Lights, presented by Excelsior Springs Christmas. Meet members of the ESEF Board of Directors as you drive through the festive light display, located along Lover’s Lane in East Valley Park.

Suggested donation is $5-$10 per vehicle or whatever you can afford. All large bus and/or group tours are required to pay a $25 fee. A portion of the donations received tonight will go to ESEF to provide resources for the enhancement of education for our ESSD students and teachers.

Five crepe makers were purchased through the ESEF Teacher Grants program by Excelsior Springs High School FACS Teacher Cynthia Dusenberry for her 9th-12th Culinary Fundamentals & International Foods classes.

The Teacher Grant program offers all ESSD teachers and staff members the opportunity to apply for grant funding for projects/supplies that demonstrate creative, innovative and effective ways to meet students’ needs while increasing motivation to learn and to achieve measurable outcomes.

Thank you to all of our ESSD teachers and staff members who make these grants possible by donating a portion of their paycheck to the Teacher Grant fund through our Employee Giving Program. Learn more at https://essdfoundation.com/teacher-grants/
