The Open Hands Foundation

The Open Hands Foundation The Open Hands Foundation exists to meet unmet critical needs of vulnerable people in our community.

Research indicates that each night 3-4 youth per high school and middle school are without a place to sleep. In collaboration with The Bridge for Youth, The Open Hands Foundation's first project will provide safe, stable housing plus access to medical treatment, counseling, casework, and social work for 6 youth per night. The young people in our area need access to emergency shelter and resources

to help them meet the crisis in their world. Having a shelter in our community allows youth to easily stay connected to their schools and activities, and have a warm bed at night.
