Hello fellow Wyoming Area Residents,
My name is Mara Pagnotti Valenti, candidate for a seat on the Wyoming Area School Board.
I wanted to tell you a little bit more about myself. I reside in West Pittston with my husband, Mike Valenti and my two daughters. We are homeowners and tax payers.
Mike and I have a successful business within the district for the last 23 years. As a woman in business, I know the value of being heard. I am a mom of two school age children, I know how important these years are for development both educational and social.
I have been the chairperson of community and school events that has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the benefit of our community and children. I am a member of the Exeter Events committee and was instrumental in bringing the first 5k to Exeter. I have served as a catechist for many years in St Barbara’s Parish.
Through Valenti’s Restaurant I have seen your children grow up, I have been there through your families triumphs and sad days. I feel personally connected to our community as a whole. It has been a great joy to be able to see that all through the eyes of the restaurant. From baptisms, weddings, graduation parties, funerals, and everything in between I have never taken that for granted and I never will.
I understand what an important decision this is for you, and I promise that if elected I will always do what is best for the children of Wyoming Area.
Over the next few weeks, I plan to tell you a little bit more about my hopes and dreams for the district. I invite you to “like” my page and join me on the campaign trail.
