At 2051 hours, Exeter Fire Dispatch received a telephone alarm reporting a building fire at 3 Stonewall Way, Unit D. A Box was transmitted, starting auto-aid companies to the scene (North Hampton Engine, Newmarket Ladder, Stratham Tanker and Durham RIT), for coverage (East Kingston Engine & Kingston Ambulance) and recalling off-duty personnel. Members of D-shift (6 personnel) responded with Engines 5 & 2 and Ambulance 1.

While responding, companies received an update reporting a resident possibly trapped in the fire building. Companies arrived on scene at 2100 hours; Engine 5 reported a 3-story multi-unit residential with smoke showing on the Alpha side – 3rd floor. Engine 2 & Ambulance 1 assisted Engine 5 with establishing a water supply and stretching a handline for fire attack and search. Capt. Martin established command.

Members simultaneously operated a handline to knockdown the fire and conducted a primary search. During the primary search, an unconscious victim was located and removed with CPR in progress. Exeter Engine 4 & North Hampton Engine arrived on scene and assisted first-due companies with patient care as well as continuing fire attack, checking for extension and searches throughout the rest of the building and similar attached residential units. Ladder 1 & Ambulance 2 would respond in addition to Engine 4. The victim was transported to Exeter Hospital for stabilization and later transferred to a Boston-area hospital. C-2 arrived on scene, assumed command, subsequently transmitting a 1st alarm bringing additional mutual aid companies to the scene and for coverage.

Fire was knocked down by 2125 hours. The fire was confined to the original fire unit. The fire unit and adjoining units were ventilated and air monitoring conducted to ensure other residents were able to return to their homes. The incident was placed under control at 2200 hours.

The fire remains under investigation by both Exeter Fire & Police Departments as well as the New Hampshire State Fire Marshal’s Office. We thank all of our mutual aid partners for their assistance, both on scene and covering

Multiple calls this afternoon for D-Shift around 1500 hrs to include:

- Ambulance 1 committed to a medical aid
- Squad 3, Ambulance 2, C-1 responded to a
vehicle into a building on Water Street
- Mutual Aid Ambulance from Epping requested
to transport 1 of 2 patients from the Water
Street call
- Mutual Aid Ambulance from North Hampton
requested for additional medical on Cross Rd

6/10/26 (C-Shift)

At 1755 hrs Ambulance 1 responded to Water Street for a medical aid. Minutes later, Engine 5 & Ambulance 2 were dispatched to a motorcycle accident on Kingston Road. Companies arrived on Kingston Rd to find a single motorcyclist down with multi-system trauma. Command requested a Kingston Ambulance with a Paramedic to assist with patient care. Medflight was also requested to assist due to the severity of patients condition.

While committed to these calls, 2 additional requests for medical aid came in requiring mutual aid assistance from North Hampton & Stratham ambulances.

Engine 2 and Exeter PD would respond to secure a landing zone at Brickyard Park. Ambulance 1 would later clear from the medical they were committed to and respond to the scene to assist and ultimately perform an RSI. Engine 5, Ambulance 1 & 2 would transport to the LZ for transport to a trauma center by Boston Medflight.
