Children ages 5-11 earn a free cub meal at Panda Express for reading in our Fall Reading Challenge! The Tulare County Library has partnered with Panda Express to host another Fall Reading Challenge from Sept. 8, 2026-Oct. 17, 2026. Sign up at participating branches or online. Use the Beanstack Tracker App if using your phone to log reading.

How it works:

Track the days you read. After five days of reading, earn a coupon for a free cub meal at any participating Panda Express. Earn up to 3 coupons. To get started, visit the Exeter Branch Library children’s desk or sign up on Beanstack! Sign-ups begin Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026.

Starting September 1 until September 25, ages 0-18 can enter to win a bike.

2 Tickets = Registering for a New Library Card
1 Ticket = Checking Out Item(s) (Limited to one entry per day.)

On Friday, September 25 from 5:00pm-6:30pm, the Library will hold a special Stitch themed party featuring a Stitch costume character with free Stitch themed books, snacks, and games. Winners will be selected at the party and don't need to be present to win.

This program is supported by a generous donation from Janet McCloskey to the Tulare County Library Foundation and the Exeter Friends of the Library.

Join Claudia from Quererte, La Cocina del Pueblo for a basic cooking class on September 22, October 13, November 10 and December 1 from 5:30pm-6:30pm. Each class is limited to 10 people. Ages 18 and older. Pre-registration required by visiting or calling the library at 559-592-5361.
