Well, Mother Nature has other plans for our Summer Reading Kickoff Foam Party.

After watching the forecast and talking with the foam company, we’ve decided to postpone today’s event. Apparently, even a little moisture in the air can turn mountains of fluffy foam into something far less impressive, and if we’re going to have a foam party, we want a FOAM PARTY.

We’re disappointed, but we’d rather wait for a better day than risk a soggy, half-foamy kickoff. We’ll announce a new date as soon as we can.

In the meantime, parents, be sure to stop by the library and get your kiddos registered for Summer Reading! We have all kinds of fun programs, activities, prizes, and adventures lined up for the summer, and we can’t wait to get started.

Thanks for understanding, and keep those summer-reading excitement levels cranked up. 🫧📚

🌦️ FOAM PARTY WEATHER WATCH! 🌦️

We’re keeping an eye on the forecast for tomorrow’s Summer Reading Kickoff Foam Party.

As much as we’d love to cover the park in foam, rain, foam, and electrical equipment don’t exactly work well together. ⚡🫧🌧️

We’ll make a final decision by 8:00 AM tomorrow morning and post an update right here on our page.

We’re hoping the weather cooperates, but everyone’s safety comes first. Thank you for your patience, and we’ll keep you updated as soon as a decision is made.
