A big thank you to Ms. Sami Conley for coordinating therapy dog visits at Harrison Park, Level Green, and Trafford Elementary Schools! 🐾

We were thrilled to welcome Charlotte the Golden Retriever and Gigi the Cavapoo from Alliance of Therapy Dogs as we celebrated the end of the school year and spread some joy after the testing season. Students loved spending time with our furry visitors! 📚🐶

Teamwork was on full display during the May 2026 Junk Box Wars: The Stay Dry Challenge! ☔

Students in kindergarten through fifth grade at each elementary school teamed up to design and build an umbrella using only foil, tape, straws, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, and paper clips. Working together, they put their STEAM skills to the test to create solutions that would keep them dry.

Congratulations to the winners from each grade level, and great job to all of our students for their innovative projects!

🎯🏆 Congratulations to the PTHS Trap Club on a great showing at this past Sunday's PA Clay Target State Trap Tournament in Elysburg, PA!

Fifteen shooters represented PT among nearly 900 student athletes from across Pennsylvania! 🇺🇸

Several shooters turned in outstanding performances:

✨Darren (Chase) Mock shot a career-high 93/100, including his first-ever 25 straight targets!
✨ Maddox Crompton broke 89/100
✨ Madi Gavrish broke 83/100
✨ Noah Dowdrick and Jacob Israel each shot 80/100

☀️🎉 Each year, the excitement of summer vacation comes early for students at Penn-Trafford’s five elementary schools, thanks to the much-anticipated tradition of Fun Day! 🏃‍♂️🎈

Held annually in late May, this special event marks the close of the school year with a full day dedicated to games, laughter, and school spirit. 💚💛💚

👔 Trafford Elementary recently welcomed two special "Principals for the Day!" 🏫

As the school year came to a close, fifth-graders Darian Nezianya and Luka Dorosh were given the opportunity to experience school leadership firsthand after making a special request to Superintendent Dr. Harris. ⭐

The boys spent the day visiting classrooms, helping staff and students, enjoying lunch with Principal Horvat, and even leading therapy dogs throughout the building. 🐾

Thank you, Darian and Luka, for your enthusiasm, leadership, and school spirit! We hope you enjoyed your day in charge. 👏

To celebrate the end of their third-grade year, Mrs. Leydig’s class at Harrison Park Elementary School created a special bulletin board titled “So Bright We Need Shades.” 😎☀️
