The land development application for 1358 Glen Echo Road will not be presented at the Planning Commission meeting scheduled for this evening at the request of the applicant, Oak Knoll, LLC. It will be moved to a future Planning Commission meeting agenda. No discussion will occur until then. The project is a proposed subdivision of a single four-acre parcel into five individual lots with access from Glen Echo Road. The existing dwelling is proposed to remain.

Curbside Christmas tree pick-up will be Saturday, January 11 (delayed due to the snowy weather earlier this week). Please have your tree at the curb by 6 a.m. This is for households on the Township's pay-as-you-throw collection program.

For Township Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT) households, trash and recycling pick-up will be on Wednesday, January 8. AJ Bloskenski has notified us that they are closed today due to the weather and poor road conditions and will be operating on a one-day delay for the rest of the week.

Please have your trash and recycling at the curb by 6 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8.

Snow reminders!

Please park in your driveway, garage, or a parking lot so that Township plows can get down your street and plow curb to curb.

Property owners or tenants are responsible for clearing the snow from sidewalks and around the fire hydrants.

As a reminder, for all households on the Township's pay-as-you-throw collection program, curbside household trash and recycling pick-up will happen as scheduled on Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 31.

Thank you to the 21 homes that participated in the 5th annual Holiday Lights Contest! Judging gets more difficult each year. We had a record setting 845 votes for peoples choice - with 1st place getting 157 votes! Congrats to our winners!

Did you know - Holiday light strands don't belong in your curbside recycling bin, but you don't have to throw them away either. Bring your lights to the Township building, and we'll get them responsibly recycled.

Bins are in the vestibule of the Township building facing Commerce Drive, which is accessible during normal business hours. As the bins fill up, staff will deliver the lights to Harris Metals in Coatesville.

Chase had a great time delivering Toys for Tots today with help from our Public Works Department! We delivered an entire truck bed filled with donated toys. Thank you to all of our community members who helped spread holiday cheer this year! This was the largest number of donations yet from WWT staff and residents.
