Join us on Sept. 19th at the Baird House (715 N. Ship Rd) from 10-1 as we follow the path of Revolutionary War soldiers as they retreated from the Battle of the Clouds and made their way up Ship Rd into Lionville. There will be opportunities to tour the property including the beautiful gardens of the Baird House (Uwchlan Twp. building) as well as a march up the original Ship Rd following in the footsteps of history.

Uwchlan Township Community Day is almost here! Join us on Saturday August 1st for a 250 themed Community Day with period appropriate games, crafts, and other fun.
The 71st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Civil War Reenacting Organization will also be there with us.
Enjoy our band, and at the break around 6:00 we will do our Dare to Declare where we read the Declaration of Independence out loud. When was the last time you read the declaration of Independence? It's a fascinating and relevant document.
Stay into the evening for fireworks!

Let's keep the Independence Day vibe going strong with the Uwchlan Garden Club's Blue Star Byway rededication and open houses at the Cadwalader House and Edith P. Moore Schoolhouse.
It all starts at 1:00 at the meetinghouse.

Join the Uwchlan Garden Club on July 5th at 1:00 as they rededicate their Blue Star Memorial Byway Marker.
A Blue Star Byway marker can be placed in parks, historic sites, and gardens among other places to pay tribute to all who have served. The Woman’s Community Club of Uwchlan placed such a marker in 2016 in conjunction with the 260th anniversary of the 1756 Uwchlan Meetinghouse.
This site was chosen by the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania because of its role in the Revolutionary War.
There will be light refreshments and Meetinghouse memorabilia on display from when the Woman’s club celebrated the 200th
anniversary.
All service men and women and members of the community are invited to join us in this tribute to our veterans past and present.
