West Whiteland Fire Company along with mutual aid battle house fire with entrapment in Exton Station.

Fire crews were alerted shortly after midnight to a house fire in the 400blk of Cassat Ct, in the Exton Station Development. Crews arrived to smoke showing from the front door with sprinkler activation and two officers from West Whiteland Police Department rescuing a victim.

Police and EMS crews provided patient care.

Fire crews extinguished the fire and situation was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes.

Early this morning at 1:58AM, The West Whiteland Fire Company was alerted for an accident with reported entrapment on Route 202. Crews arrived to find one vehicle overturned, but negative entrapment. Members helped with patient care, traffic, and hazard control. A large debris field was mitigated and crews cleared just after 3AM.

At 4:39PM the West Whiteland Fire Company was alerted to assist The East Brandywine Fire Company on a working garage fire. A crew of 14 responded to the incident.

On March 18, 2026, West Whiteland Fire Company was privileged to stand alongside East Brandywine Fire Company in honoring Corporal Tim O’Connor, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
Our members had the honor of constructing the arch along the funeral route as a symbol of respect, remembrance, and gratitude for a life dedicated to service.
We extend our deepest condolences to Corporal O’Connor’s family, friends, and all who served beside him. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

A second identical room, without sprinklers, was an almost total loss, with nearly out-of-control flames requiring suppression.
