Hi everyone! Quick Christy Mathewson Day update.

Due to turnout, we have made the decision to cancel the Fadeaway 5K this year. Anyone who already signed up will be refunded.

The kids fun run is still happening, but it will now take place right at Christy Mathewson Park instead of the Trolley Trail.

Kids Fun Run groups:
T-Ball ages 5–6: 1 lap around the field
Coach ages 7–8: 2 laps
Minor ages 9–10: 3 laps
Major ages 11–12: 4 laps

We still have a great day planned with baseball games, vendors, local non-profits, Boy Scouts Troop 175 Famous Chicken BBQ, bluegrass gospel music, and The Sandlot at dusk.

Please still come out and spend the day with us at Christy Mathewson Park on Saturday, June 6th. It is going to be a great community day in the park!

Update on Movie Night! ⚾🍿

We know we announced that Angels in the Outfield won the Facebook vote, and it did.

However, a few (okay a lot) of our younger movie night fans, who are not exactly active on Facebook because, you know, childhood, made a very convincing case to the committee that they wanted The Sandlot again.

Since this night is for the kids and their families, we decided their voices count too. So we are making a small change and showing The Sandlot!

Join us Saturday, June 6th at dusk. Bring your blankets, chairs, and your best “you’re killing me, Smalls” energy.

Thanks for understanding, and we hope to see everyone under the stars!
