📅Make sure you mark your calendars for the second annual Watermelon Social! 🍉

🍉The Fair Bluff Senior Center's senior-friendly adaptation of Fair Bluff’s famous Watermelon Festival, was created in 2025 to provide our older adults with a safe, accessible way to celebrate a beloved local tradition without the heat, mobility challenges, or large crowds.

🍉Our event features various vendors, community organizations & non-profits, small businesses, food, music, and so much more!

🍉Through our Watermelon Social, it has strengthen intergenerational relationships and has positioned the Fair Bluff Senior Center as a hub of community collaboration and celebration.

🍉Join us on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM, for our Watermelon Social.

🍉Also, at 1:00 PM during our event, we will have a Special Awards Recognition Ceremony, celebrating the Fair Bluff Senior Center being award the 2026 Ann Johnson Senior Center of the Year.

We are excited to add the Fair Bluff Community Barn Quilt to the Columbus County Barn Quilt Trail, but it has to be finished! Mark your calendars and visit Fair Bluff for the Fair Bluff Watermelon Festival and stop by the Visitor’s Center to paint part of the barn quilt. Help tell the story of Fair Bluff.
