Today FHRS joined American Legion Post 49 Fair Haven, VT in their yearly event of placing flags at the graves of those who have military service.

He was a staple in our community, teaching, coaching and supporting the citizens of Fair Haven with over 50 years of service on the Fire Department. Today Steve Leach, from the Harned-Fowler VFW Post 6471 out of Manchester Vermont, stopped by the station to present FHRS this beautiful plaque and coin as a thank you for our work in the community.

FHRS joined forces with Fair Haven Fire/Rescue VT Castleton Volunteer Fire Department Hampton Fire and Poultney Fire at a fire on West St. this morning. Agencies were utilized for fire attack, traffic control and preparation of the landing zone for LifeNet of New York. Support was also received from volunteers bringing Donuts of Rutland, Inc. coffee and Donuts and Stewart's Shops boxes of coffee.

Thank you everyone for your support and collaboration at this morning’s incident.
