Safety Saturday: School is out for summer, but safety never takes a vacation! Remind children and teens to stay away from train tracks. Trains can arrive quickly and quietly taking up to a mile to stop.

06/09/2026

Every crossing deserves your full attention.

Trains can't stop quickly. A freight train can take more than a mile to stop, even in an emergency.

When you reach a crossing:

Always expect a train.
Never go around gates.
Cross only when the signs and signals are clear.
Make safe choices. See Tracks? Think Train!ยฎ
