Good afternoon Forrest Families, unfortunately, due to the inclement weather forecast for tomorrow, the difficult decision has been made to cancel the PTA Ice Cream Social.

The New Family Tour will still take place at 5:00pm. Mr. Placenti will welcome our new families and provide a tour of the building. Please enter the school through the front doors located on Hopper Avenue promptly at 5:00pm.

We hope everyone is enjoying the final weeks of summer! To celebrate the start of the 2026–2027 school year, the Forrest PTA invites all current and new Forrest families to an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, September 1, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on the back blacktop.

During the event, Mr. Placenti will also be leading building tours for new families. All new students and their families are encouraged to attend!

We can’t wait to see everyone! 🙂

We love Ms. Sophia!!

It's Throwback Thursday! Here are a few memories reported from Forrest School:

March: Forrest School came out to celebrate their Care Plus Clinician, Sophia Scholes, at a bridal shower in her honor at Mezza Mediterranean in Westwood! Good food and fun were had by all. Forrest School also celebrated Sophia with an after-school bridal shower, where cake and sparkling cider were on hand to toast our beloved colleague!

May: Forrest staff celebrated at Sophia's wedding. It was such a happy time filled with great friends, food, and music! Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Giordano! 💍✨

A little rain can’t stop Forrest from having an awesome indoor 4th grade clap out and end of year dance party! We had a special clap out for our very special Mr. Schultz. Happy retirement! Forrest won’t be the same without you!

It’s been a wonderful school year and we can’t wait to see what next year has in store!

Congratulations to Forrest’s graduating 4th Grade Class of 2026! 🎓💚💛

What an amazing group of students—it has been such a joy watching them grow, learn, lead and make memories throughout their time at Forrest. We will miss them and can’t wait to see all the incredible things they accomplish in middle school and beyond.

A huge thank you to this year’s 4th Grade Committee Chairs, Michelle Perrota and Sandy Zhang, for their hard work, dedication and all they did to help make this year so special for our students.

And to the many parent volunteers who helped along the way—there are simply too many to name, but every bit of your time, support and effort made a difference and was truly appreciated. Thank you for helping create such meaningful memories for this year’s graduating class.
