As most of you are aware, we had a low pressure even Sunday morning, September 4th, 2022. The apparent cause was a slight electrical malfunction at one of the wells which prevented it from turning on at its appointed time. Because of how the timer works, the other pump also didn't kick on, so the water tower was emptied.
The issue was resolved by 8:30 AM, and both pumps are operable. We will continue to monitor the situation to try and prevent this from reoccurring in the near future.
As a safety precaution, and per regulation, we are issuing a voluntary boil advisory notice. Please read the information from MoDNR's page (link included below) on what this entails. Due to the holiday tomorrow we won't be able to test the water until Tuesday, and won't have the results for a few days after that. This is all standard procedure.
