The Fairbanks Fire Department is now the FIRST EMS agency in Alaska to earn Gold-Level Pediatric Recognition — the highest honor from the Alaska State Office of EMS. 🏅✨

This award highlights FFD’s dedication to top-tier care for infants, kids, and teens, including strong training, neonatal transport readiness, and a robust quality-improvement program — all while serving Interior Alaska. ❄️💛

Fairbanks Emergency Communications Center's dispatchers this week are celebrating themselves, their co-workers, and their neighboring agencies.

Call Takers and Dispatchers are the dedicated professionals who handle 911 calls. They triage incoming calls, gather essential information for responders, and provide necessary instructions prior to the arrival of on-scene personnel.

Ongoing training is essential for our agency to deliver the highest quality service to the public. We offer monthly educational training, on-site instruction, and in-house training for all employees.

We are proud to be employees of the City of Fairbanks and work for FECC! 🖤💛🖤💛
