We’re Searching For Exceptional Flight Nurses! 🛩️✨ 🛩️✨

Imagine soaring through Alaska’s breathtaking skies: cruising under the stars and Northern Lights, flying close to North America’s tallest peak—Mount Denali—or along the stunning Southeastern coast with the ocean on one side and lush rainforest on the other. Picture gliding over ancient, turquoise-blue glaciers… This is your office!

We have bases above the Arctic Circle, in Alaska’s beautiful Interior, vibrant Southeast coastal communities, and the rugged West Coast.

Your Mission:
Deliver advanced life support during high-acuity transports across Alaska’s most challenging terrain, using state-of-the-art equipment:

✅ Hamilton T1 ventilators & H900 HFNC
✅ Karl Storz C-MAC video laryngoscopy for RSI
✅ Multichannel infusion pumps & Philips Avalon FM 30 fetal monitors
✅ Expertise in peds, high-risk OB, & neonatal resuscitation

Required Qualifications:
🔹 Alaska RN license (compact/endorsement accepted)
🔹 3+ years of 911/ICU/PICU experience
🔹 BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP + valid passport
🔹 Obtain TPATC within 6 months of hire

Schedule: 10 days on / 20 days off (remote bases)
Preferred: CFRN, C-NPT, fixed-wing & cold-weather experience

✈️ Exciting News from the Kotzebue Base! ✈️

We are delighted to announce that Flight Nurse Jennifer has been selected as our new Kotzebue Base Manager! 🎉
With 10 years of nursing experience and a completed Master’s degree, Jennifer brings exceptional skill and dedication to our team. Over the past year in Kotzebue, she has flown critical care missions to every surrounding village in the region. Jennifer has excelled in delivering outstanding patient care, building strong partnerships during interfacility transports from Maniilaq Health Center to tertiary hospitals, and working seamlessly with the Kotzebue Fire Department and our local partners.

Beyond her clinical excellence, Jennifer sets a shining example for her fellow flight clinicians through her positive attitude and deep commitment to the community. In her own words, she loves:
• The strong sense of community here
• The outstanding teamwork with Maniilaq Health Center and Kotzebue Fire Department
• Dining at The Empress
• Learning about Inupiaq culture and the incredible way of life in the Arctic

From our strategic Deadhorse base on the North Slope, these dedicated professionals provide vital air ambulance coverage across a massive swath of the Arctic Circle — reaching from Barrow in the north, through the major oil fields of Alpine and Kuparuk, east to Kaktovik near the Canadian border, and south to the remote villages along the Yukon River.

With expert skills, unwavering dedication, and that classic AirCare spirit, they’re standing by 24/7 to deliver life-saving care across one of Alaska’s most vast and challenging regions—no matter the weather or the hour.

In the early hours of an Arctic winter morning, while most of Alaska was still dreaming, our Kotzebue-based Flight Paramedic Jackson and Flight Nurse Gary were already answering the call — soaring beneath a breathtaking display of the Northern Lights on their way to a remote community.

With expert critical care in the cabin and one of nature’s greatest light shows overhead, this dedicated duo reminds us why AirCare Alaska is there when it matters most: 24/7, no matter the hour or the view from the cockpit.
