Due to enhanced security measures, the 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝘁𝗵𝗿𝘂 at Kittyhawk Pharmacy will need to close beginning at 1:00 p.m. today (Sept 3) until Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

Parking at Kittyhawk Pharmacy, Wright-Patterson Medical Center, and Building 675 [Area B] will also be restricted. Please adhere to the barriers and signage at these locations and refrain from parking in restricted areas. Handicapped parking is being redistributed to different rows.

💥If you need prescription refills prior to the holiday weekend, please be sure to place those orders today with the Kittyhawk Pharmacy.

🛑That being said, it may be best to refrain from choosing the ScriptCenter as your pick-up location today and tomorrow due to some intermittent screen issues within the locker system. While it does work for most patients, some patients are experiencing blank or locked screens and may need to go to Kittyhawk where they will re-process your prescription for you.

We are working with the vendor to resolve this as quickly as possible but want to alert you so that you can avoid any issues up front.

On Thursday, September 3rd, the pharmacy refill line (937-483-2130) will be down between 12:45pm-2:15pm to address recent problems and to update capabilities.

New calls will be stopped, and users will get a busy tone, but users can continue to use the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to refill prescriptions during the downtime. If an error or a busy tone is encountered, try again after the change window.

On Friday, September 4 and Monday, September 7, in observation of the Labor Day Holiday - outpatient clinics, the lab and our pharmacies will be closed.

The emergency room at WPMC remains open 24/7 for any urgent medical needs, along with our inpatient services.

You may also visit https://mhsnurseadviceline.com for health concerns or dial 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273) for 24/7 assistance. In addition, the VIPRR vurtual urgent care clinic is available for specific healthcare needs M-F 6:30am-11:30pm for TRICARE Prime beneficiaries ages 12+.

Due to the holiday break, there will not be training occurring on Wednesday, September 2 or Wednesday, September 9. We will be open regular hours.

𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝘆𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵

The Department of Defense is modernizing the login experience by transitioning from DS Logon to a new platform called myAuth across all DoD applications.

myAuth offers enhanced security features including modern multi-factor authentication options that will provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience across all DoD platforms, including the patient portal.

The MHS GENESIS Patient Portal access transition to myAuth will take effect on September 16, 2026. Until then, you will keep using your DS Logon username and password to access the patient portal.

TRICARE-critical systems — including Express Scripts/Evernorth, United Concordia (TRICARE Dental Program), Humana, TriWest, ISOS and WPS — are scheduled to complete the transition by end September 2026.

DS Logon will not support customers after September 30, 2026. All users must transition before this deadline.

A large group of 88th Medical Group deployers have returned home after supporting U.S. missions abroad. We are enormously proud of their dedication, resiliency, and commitment to service, and we thank their families for their support and sacrifice ❤️🤍💙

Another big thank you to our own Medical Readiness team and the countless units and offices across the Wright-Patterson Medical Center and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base who ensured their swift and successful departure earlier this year as well as their safe arrival home.
