🎓 Big congratulations to our January 2026 graduates.

On January 22, twenty-two students walked across the stage and received the diplomas they worked hard to earn.

Every name called was a reminder that success does not have to look just one way. At FDA, students finish on their own timeline, with support that fits their needs and a team that believes in them.

Meet Shari Little, the heart behind the garden beds, mural walls, and hands-on programs that help bring Fairborn Digital Academy to life. As the School Pride Officer, Shari leads art, gardening, and leadership classes. Her true gift is helping students discover what they are capable of achieving.

For many students, her programs are the first time they feel real pride in something they have built with their own hands. Whether they are harvesting vegetables or finishing a painting, Shari's classroom is a place where confidence grows alongside practical skills. She teaches more than lessons. She teaches students to see their own worth.

"I am these kids," Shari says. "I grew up just like them." That connection shapes everything she does. From building raised beds in the parking lot to staying late so students can finish a project, Shari brings creativity, care, and consistency to everything she leads.

Every mural, meal, and moment in her program is part of helping students feel seen, capable, and proud. Shari is one of the reasons FDA feels like way more than a school! She helps FDA feel like a place to belong.

Meet Donna Smalt, the steady presence students count on the moment they walk through the doors at Fairborn Digital Academy.

Since 2013, Donna has been the first face students see each day. She greets them with kindness and care, while also setting clear expectations for respect, focus, and accountability. For many students, that consistent welcome creates a chance to reset, feel safe, and step into the day with purpose.

Donna believes deeply in every student’s potential. She understands that many arrive carrying heavy stories and guarded trust. She sees her role as giving them a fresh start and showing them that someone is standing with them.

“I want them to know they can keep going. They can do it,” Donna said.

Day in and day out, Donna helps create the structure, care, and steady encouragement that allow students to move forward. From the front desk to graduation day, her presence reflects the heart of FDA and the belief that every student deserves someone who sees them and believes they can succeed.

Meet Hope Young, one of our dedicated accountability coaches at Fairborn Digital Academy. For Hope, supporting students goes far beyond academics. “Sometimes I am the most consistent thing in their life,” Hope says. From young parents to students breaking cycles in their families, Hope shows up every day to cheer, guide, and support.
