The railroad crossing on SR-235/Xenia Drive between Schwerman Drive and Sports Street will be closed through Friday, August 28, while necessary rail repairs and resurfacing are completed.
Drivers traveling from I-675 toward downtown Fairborn can use the Dayton-Yellow Springs Road exit or the Broad Street/SR-444 exit to get around the closure.

On July 08, 2026, at approximately 04:40 a.m., a white male suspect broke into the Rocky's ACE Hardware store. The suspect stole items including Stihl w**d eaters. The Fairborn Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying this suspect.
