We are exactly 1 week away from our 2026 National Night Out!

Join the City of Fairburn Police Department 🚔 and Fairburn Fire Department 🚒 for an evening dedicated to strengthening community connections, providing school supplies and backpacks to the community, and participating in tons of community fun!

There will be food trucks 🚚, games for the youth 🎯, school supplies giveaways 🎒✏️, and a chance to come meet our public safety team and community members who help make Fairburn a great place to call home. 🏡

When a school bus is stopped with flashing red lights on a divided highway, Georgia law still requires drivers traveling in both directions to stop unless a physical barrier, such as a concrete or cable barrier, separates the roadway.

A painted median or turn lane is not a physical barrier so vehicles are required to stop.

Stop for the bus. Watch for children. Lives depend on it.
