The crew is getting close to being done. They've been working well into the evenings. We've been so excited for this moment.

We are still running short for the total cost of the roof, there was also more underneath the original tiles that needed to be replaced before the new tile could be laid, so we kind of expect to owe a tad bit more than originally planned.

If you are still interested in making a tax deductible donation, please mail it to:
Rock Island Museum
910 Bacon Rd
Fairbury, NE 68352
*please make checks payable to Jeferson County Historical Society.

We will mail a basic receipt, if you need something special for your records, please communicate that with us.

The day is here!

Happy Monday! The day we've been waiting for has come! If you look past the big tree, you can see the crew working to remove the old tiles on the roof. We are excited to get the new roof on, but we are still a little short of the $375,000 price tag. We appreciate all of the donations thus far and are still accepting tax deductible donations at 910 Bacon Road, Fairbury, NE.
