This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes who gave everything for our nation. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy every day, and their legacy lives on through the grateful Americans who will never forget them.

The Fairbury Police Department honors all fallen service members and extends our deepest gratitude to the families who sacrificed alongside them. 🇺🇸

We invite everyone to enjoy the village’s parks during this spring/summer weather, but PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHILDREN.

We’ve recently had calls of juveniles causing disturbances and damaging the new Depot Park. This will not be tolerated, and the parents will be held accountable as well.

Forrest Code- Chapter 560-5 Use of parks and playgrounds ecode360.com/38724013 #38724013

Forrest Ordinance 560-6 any person who violates this chapter shall be fined $750 for each offense and will be responsible for restitution for any damaged caused. Each day of violation occurs shall be considered a separate offense. The park is under 24/7 video surveillance.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation. We love our new park, and know you do, too. If you see something, please say something by calling the Fairbury Police non-emergency: 815-692-3347.

Thank you, Village Board
