Class 23-Delta Graduation Ceremony!
It’s a beautiful day to honor you, Crew of Shell 77.
10 years. Gone but Never Forgotten.
Yesterday, Class 23-D spent time working with the kids and staff at the Hutton Settlement Children’s Home. They cleaned up the barn to prepare the way for some new goats and provide space for wood projects, cleared a nature trail to help with fire prevention, prepared both a vegetable and flower garden, and finally used some problem solving to create a drip irrigation system for the gardens. Mackey ALS’ legacy of service has assisted the Hutton Settlement to provide many good kids with many opportunities to hone in on skills to set them up for future success. For more information on The Hutton Settlement, visit huttonsettlement.org
Thanks for all of your hard work, Class 23-Delta!

Class 23-B coming into week 2 like…
Dignity, Respect, Liberty.
These principles are what Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr. and so many others lived, fought, and died for. As you enjoy this weekend and your extra day off, remember how far we have come, think of where we might be if good people hadn't stood against the status quo, and endeavor to make the world a better place as they did.
Have a great weekend, be safe, and we will see you Tuesday.

Mackey ALS Class 22-F Graduation Ceremony
Happy Monday!
Class 22-F participated in their class volunteer project this past weekend. Instead of going off base, we kept it close to home by revamping the Arts & Crafts Center on base, in preparation for the grand opening that’s coming in just a few weeks!
The 19 students of Class 22-F moved a lot of equipment, and helped to repaint 2 of the rooms dedicated to Arts & Crafts. They also ripped up old carpet flooring and prepared it for some nice new laminate flooring! Throughout the day we had some visitors, to include Col Bentley and his wife, Mrs. Bentley. They along with the Arts & Crafts team expressed their appreciation for Class 22-Foxtrots help as this is a big task with a short timeline!
As always, we’re proud to be Team Mackey ALS!

Yesterday Class 22-E spent a Saturday morning helping to maintain the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake. The cemetery director related stories of courage, loss, grief, and happiness to the class and cadre. We are glad that we had the privilege to contribute to this place of rest and remembrance for those who have served before us.
