As we attempt to prepare for the 2020-2021 school year we are asking our families to evaluate their anticipated child care needs. At SAC we understand that there are still many unknowns to this coming school year, but we hope to use this as our guide of how we can best provide care for your child and your family. We are asking all families looking for school year care to apply on https://militarychildcare.com/. School year care will open on MCC Monday, 3 August.
Currently, the care we are asking you to apply for is before school care, after school care, or both before and after school care. Please indicate in the comments if your family selected in person or virtual on the survey provided by the Medical Lake School District. As of now, we are unsure how specifics with virtual schooling and other possible options will work but we would like to gather as much information as possible. We understand that as the school year draws closer there may be different needs depending on the decision made by the Medical Lake School District and as things change we will work to meet the needs as best we can. It is important to note, that an application on Military Child Care does not guarantee your child(ren) a place within the program for the 2020-2021 school year.
