Team Fairchild,

Please join the 92 ARW Leadership and the Integrated Resilience Office (IRO) for the Annual "Out of the Darkness" Su***de Prevention Walk

In recognition of Su***de Prevention & Awareness Month this September, the 92 ARW Leadership and IRO invites you to join us for our annual "Out of the Darkness" Su***de Prevention Walk. This community event is a powerful reminder of our shared mission: to take care of one another and ensure that no one feels alone.

This walk provides a vital opportunity to reinforce our dedication to addressing mental health stigma, promoting open communication, and ensuring access to essential resources and support for all team members.

Be Part of a National Movement:
The Community Walks are the heart of the Out of the Darkness movement, which began in 2004 and has grown to encompass hundreds of communities across the country. These events provide a platform for individuals to share their experiences, find support, and create a culture that's smarter about mental health.

Walk Together for Hope and Healing:
Join friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers as we walk side-by-side, supporting each other and honoring the memory of those we have lost to su***de and to bring awareness to the impact that su***de has in our military community.

Benefits of Participating:
Su***de Prevention Walks offer numerous benefits for both individuals and the community:
• Raises Awareness: Increases understanding of su***de prevention and mental health.
• Supports Those Affected: Provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals and families impacted by su***de.
• Promotes Mental Health: Encourages open conversations about mental health and access to resources.
• Builds Community Connectedness and Resilience: Strengthens community bonds and promotes a sense of belonging.

Event Details:
• Date: 26 September 2025
• Time: 1300-1515
• Location: Miller Park, Fairchild AFB
• Attire: Appropriate civilian fitness attire or PT uniform.

Note: No registration is needed. This event is open to all with base access.

Come walk with us and be a part of the solution. Together, we can make a difference.
