In response to the installation Health Protection Condition level being reduced from Charlie to Bravo+ the 92nd Medical Group will change its hours of operation to 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. starting June 22. Their COVID-19 screening process will remain in place. The expanded hours will enable the medical group to see more patients face-to-face, however they will still operate with a high proportion of virtual appointments via telephone to reduce foot traffic in the MTF and lower risk to patients and staff.

Fairchild AFB has reduced its Health Protection Condition Level from Charlie to Bravo Plus. β€œOver the coming weeks, and as conditions warrant, we will continue to make necessary adjustments to mitigate risk in order to meet mission requirements and protect the force.”

-Col. Derek SalmiοΏΌ
92d ARW Commander

What this means for daily life:
- Gatherings are still restricted to 10 people (50 for special events)
- Physical distancing is still 6ft from others
- When within 6ft of others, a mask must still be worn 😷
- Fairchild AFB is still in alignment with Washington State Safe Restart plan for most of those-type measures
- Some additional force support services will be opening

Help spread the word~
MAE is excited to announce that on Tuesday, June 16th we will have a Reverse Parade!
Here’s how it will work:
β€’ The reverse parade will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16th.
β€’ The reverse parade will include all grade levels, including Preschool.
β€’ Please enter the MAE Staff parking lot continuing to the parent/visitor parking lot. We want to avoid traffic backups on Fairchild St.
β€’ Staff and teachers will be lined up along the sidewalks. Students and families driving by and waving. Please exit onto Offutt Pkwy.
β€’ Please maintain proper social distancing guidelines and stay in your vehicle.
Parents are welcome to decorate their cars, and have their student/s name on the car so the MAE Staff knows who is in the car. MAE is excited to announce that on Tuesday, June 16th we will have a Reverse Parade!

The Exceptional Family Member Program is committed to helping families with special needs thrive in military life. To help ensure our families can find information, connect with services and advocate for themselves or their family members needs, the Exceptional Advocates News launched a new online tool, EFMP & Me.

This expands family support by offering 24/7 access to information that is tailored to individual needs through checklists. These checklists provide steps, resources and tips to navigate through topics, such as:

- Preparing for PCS or deployment
- Navigating special educational and medical needs
- Getting organized and enrolled in EFMP

Through the EFMP & Me tool, checklists can be printed or saved and updated for future use with a free Military OneSource account.

A Conversation

In case you missed it, yesterday Gen. David L. Goldfein and CMSAF Kaleth O. Wright engaged in a dialogue on race, the Air Force, and change we must achieve.

They highlighted the importance of normalizing discussions on race between Airmen and their leadership. They also discussed the importance of actively listening to the issues and concerns brought fourth in these conversations, and how this can assist in building a better Air Force.

Parks are open in Spokane 😊

PLAYGROUNDS UPDATE: Today, the Spokane Regional Health District’s Health Officer re-opened playgrounds! Parks staff are moving around our nearly 90 parks to remove closure tape from play structures. You may still see some tape up, existing signs and swings removed in places we haven’t reached yet with our small team. Please keep in mind that we don’t routinely sanitize play equipment, picnic tables, and similar amenities, so continue to use CDC precautions to avoid the spread of germs. We hope you continue to enjoy park spaces!
