SHB 2200: MilSpouse Liaison at WDVA
SHB 2200 (which passed out of its policy committee) will have a hearing in the House Appropriations Committee on Thursday at 3:30. SHB 2200 is the original house bill creating a military spouse liaison within WDVA. Since this is the Appropriations Committee, the chair will keep the testimony short. Attendees may also register at the hearing in support, opposition, or neutral on the bill without speaking. Regardless of testimony, Committee members do like to see attendance to show whether there is interest in the bill.
The Appropriations hearing and public comment session on the bill will be at the Washington State Capitol, in the John L O’Brien Building Hearing Room A on February 6th at 3:30 p.m.
