‼️At the request of those coordinating our collective emergency response, the informational session will be postponed and rescheduled after the resource center is staffed and fully operational. ‼️

Updated location! This & Insurance Informational Session has been moved to Shadle Park High School in Spokane. Hear from Commissioner Kuderer, Sen. Riccelli, Spokane Mayor Brown, and Spokane Councilmember Telis.

The discussion will include information about what fire survivors need to know about filing a claim, their insurance rights, and what help the Office of the Insurance Commissioner can offer.

The OIC’s insurance experts will be on hand to help answer specific questions on the claims process and share educational resources.

The event will also be streamed on Spokane City Cable and TVW.

🚨EFAC Update 8/3/26 1810🚨 Effective tomorrow (4 August), the new EFAC hours will be 0800-1700, based on current utilization trends. Additionally, please make sure you have completed your AFPAAS recall (Air Force Personnel Accountability and Assessment System), even if you do not believe you need services/assistance at this time.

Quick Recap- We are in a tactical pause for all donations, in order to process current items and assess current needs of our customers.

🚨EFAC UPDATE🚨 8/3/26 0745- EFAC will open promptly at 0800 today and close at 2000. Donations will be accepted 0800-1830, and we have plenty of clothing and perishable food right now, so please donate your perishable food items to Fairchild Food Pantry or another legitimate organization assisting wildfire evacuees. Due to the ongoing wildfire situation, the Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) has been activated to support our military members, Department of the Air Force civilians, and their families.

UPDATE as of 8/2/26 1650- Please bring all donations to the EFAC by 6:30 PM today for processing. We will resume accepting donations at 8:00 am tomorrow.

- NOW ACCEPTING VOLUNTEERS AND DONATIONS for those displaced. Clothing donations are not needed at this time, please hold them for now.
